Mid Senior QA Tester Playwright + AI

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Location: Remote or Hybrid India

We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer who is deeply skilled in Playwright and understands how to use AI tools to accelerate testing workflows . This role is purely automation focused and suited for someone who has built Playwright test frameworks, contributed to scalable test suites, and used AI to optimise test coverage, debugging and reporting. Manual testers or Selenium focused profiles will not fit this role.

Architect and maintain automated test suites exclusively using Playwright .

Build reusable test components, fixtures, selectors, and custom helpers.

Implement end to end, UI, API and component level automation using Playwright.

Use AI powered tools to generate test cases, identify patterns in failures, and speed up root cause analysis.

Integrate Playwright automation into CI CD pipelines and optimise test execution time.

Set up parallel execution, trace viewer, video recording and reporting within Playwright.

Develop test strategies based on product requirements, edge cases, and real user flows.

Work closely with developers to validate bug fixes and prevent regressions.

Continuously fine tune the test framework for stability, speed and coverage.

Minimum 3 years of experience in automation testing .

Strong hands on experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript).

Experience building custom Playwright frameworks from scratch.

Proficient with Playwright Test Runner, trace viewer, fixtures, selectors and debugging tools.

Good knowledge of API automation using Playwright or similar JS based clients.

Strong Git workflow familiarity.

Experience using AI tools for QA , such as:

AI based test case generation

AI assisted debugging

Auto documentation or AI driven test planning

Clear understanding of CI CD integration for automated tests.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a product quality mindset.

Experience using AI testing platforms like QA Wolf AI, Testim AI, Codium AI, or ChatGPT driven QA workflows.

Basic understanding of performance or load testing using modern JS libraries.

Familiarity with microservices or distributed systems testing.

Work primarily with Playwright in a modern automation driven environment.

Use AI to redefine how testing is planned, executed and improved.
