TCS is looking for Microsoft SSIS / Access Developer

Experience: 5-10 years

Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Bhubaneshwar /Kolkata

Required technical skills: ETL using SSIS, comfortable with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, optimization), and experienced in Access (VBA, forms, queries)

Must have skill:

• Hands-on Microsoft SSIS / Access Developer to design, build, and maintain data integration pipelines and Access-based applications that power business reporting and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will be strong in ETL using SSIS, comfortable with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, optimization), and experienced in Access (VBA, forms, queries) for production-grade business solutions. Experience in automation, performance tuning, and data quality frameworks is essential.

Good to have skill:

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, and DAX for reporting.
• Experience with Azure Data services (Azure SQL DB, Data Factory, Synapse) or migration from on-prem.
• Knowledge of flat files/CSV, SFTP, APIs as data sources.
• Familiarity with Git, DevOps, and CI/CD for data projects.
• Experience with data governance, PII handling, and compliance frameworks.
• Basic understanding of Python or Power Automate for auxiliary automation.

Roles and responsibilities:

• ETL & Data Integration
• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and scheduling (SQL Server Agent).
• Build robust error handling, logging, auditing, and recovery in SSIS solutions.
• Implement incremental loads, SCD handling, and CDC (if applicable).
• Data Modeling & SQL
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, UDFs, views, and complex TSQL queries.
