Mechanical Project Engineer

Qualification: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 0 to 1 Year (Freshers Welcome)

The Mechanical Project Engineer will assist in the execution of mechanical projects involving manufacturing, assembly, and testing. This is an entry-level role focused on learning project management practices, shop-floor execution, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.

• Assist in planning and execution of mechanical projects
• Support senior engineers in tracking project schedules and milestones
• Prepare basic project reports and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams for day-to-day project activities

• Assist in supervising manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly activities
• Ensure drawings and specifications are followed during production
• Support machine assembly, testing, and trial runs
• Help in identifying and resolving basic shop-floor issues

• Understand and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs
• Assist in minor design changes as guided by senior engineers
• Maintain project documentation, checklists, and records

• Support follow-up with vendors for bought-out items
• Assist in material receipt checks and documentation
• Coordinate internally for material availability

• Assist in ensuring quality standards during manufacturing
• Follow safety guidelines on the shop floor

• Basic knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Willingness to work on shop floor and project sites
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Eagerness to learn and take responsibility

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo
• Exposure to internships or academic projects in manufacturing
• Interest in automation, robotics, or special purpose machines
