Role Overview
We are looking for a Manual Tester Intern (QA Intern) to support our Quality Assurance team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications . This internship offers hands-on exposure to manual testing processes within an Agile, technology-driven environment , making it an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to begin their career in software quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects, usability issues, and inconsistencies using bug-tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and verify defect fixes
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality
- Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation , including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Analyze test results and support reporting on testing progress and quality metrics
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field (preferred)
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and quality assurance methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings effectively
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is an added advantage
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment
