Inviting applications for the role of Manager, E/M Certified Medical Coder RCM (Revenue Cycle Management)!
We are looking for a Certified E/M Medical Coder with at least some years of experience in US healthcare coding, preferably from a US healthcare outsourcing company. The ideal candidate must have a strong foundation in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding, a deep understanding of coding guidelines and payer requirements, and a passion for accuracy and compliance. This role demands analytical thinking, excellent communication, and a growth-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
1. Review clinical documentation to assign appropriate E/M codes in accordance with CMS and payer-specific guidelines.
2. Ensure coding accuracy to support proper reimbursement and compliance.
3. Collaborate with providers or internal teams to clarify documentation or coding discrepancies.
4. Keep up to date with current coding guidelines, payer rules, and regulatory changes.
5. Meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks established by the client.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Must have B.Com or M.Com degree
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Minimum years of experience in US healthcare medical coding with a focus on E/M services.
Prior experience working with a US healthcare outsourcing or BPO company.
Valid coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, or equivalent) with E/M proficiency.
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.
Passionate about coding accuracy and continuous improvement.
Goal-oriented and committed to maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
A collaborative team player who can work independently when required.
Driven to stay updated and continuously expand coding knowledge.
Work Environment
o Operate within a structured framework but is you are expected to be proactive and analytically independent in your own area of responsibility
