Function: Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Location: Gurugram and Chennai

Role & Responsibilities

Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. The role involves advising clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters under IFRS and Ind AS, including implementation of new standards and transaction-related accounting.

Responsibilities:

Technical Accounting & Advisory

• Provide accounting advisory services in the following areas:
• IFRS 18 / Ind AS 118 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements
• Business Combinations
• Revenue Recognition (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15)
• Financial Instruments (Ind AS 109 / IFRS 9)
• Leases (Ind AS 116 / IFRS 16)
• Stock-Based Compensation (Ind AS 102 / IFRS 2)
• Support accounting framework conversions (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP)
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos, policy documents, and position papers
• Assist clients with impact assessments and implementation of new accounting standards

Financial Reporting & Transactions

• Support preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures
• Advise on regulatory and reporting requirements
• Assist on IPO readiness, carve-outs, and other complex transactions

Client & Team Management - Manage day-to-day client interactions on assigned engagements along with client partner

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Relevant experience in Accounting Advisory / Audit
• Strong hands-on experience in IFRS and/or Ind AS, particularly in the areas listed above
• Prior experience in Big 4 or leading consulting firms preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
