Manager- Threat Hunter (Netscout)

Role: Threat Hunter Netscout

Location: Jaipur

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT

Experience: 8-9 YEARS

Certification: CEH/CSA

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat-hunting activities using Netscout and related network visibility tools.
• Analyse network telemetry, packet data, and alerts to identify anomalous activities.
• Investigate suspicious traffic patterns, malware communication, and lateral movement.
• Work closely with SOC teams to enrich incidents and provide actionable threat intelligence.
• Develop new hunting hypotheses and detection logic based on evolving threats.
• Create and maintain threat-hunting reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and recommend security improvements.

Skills & Competencies

• Educational Qualification should be B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT with 6+ years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with Netscout or similar network monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of threat landscape, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced SOC environment.
• Good Analytical & Problem Solving skills
• Able to communicate with technical staff/management
• Flexible to work after office and over weekend if required
• Highly motivated & customer centric
