Job Role - Manager - Technology Infrastructure (Windows Administrator)
Role: -
We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator who will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and related systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Active Directory management, Office 365 administration, and general IT infrastructure support.
Responsibility: -
Administer and manage Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory (user management, group policies, OU structure, DNS, DHCP, Manage Office 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure AD, Intune, etc.).
Monitor server performance, backups, and security patches.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows servers, AD replication, and O365 services.
Implement and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Perform user onboarding, offboarding, and access control.
Handle email migrations and mailbox management in Exchange Online.
Support hybrid AD environments (on-premises AD synchronized with Azure AD via AAD Connect).
Maintain system documentation and SOPs.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Collaborate with other IT teams for network, security, and application support
Note: Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on organizational requirements.
Required Skills & Qualification -
BE/B. Tech with 5 - 7 years of experience in Windows Servers & Active Directory Administration and Support in followings but not limited to.
Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
Expertise in Office 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD).
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation tasks is a plus.
Experience with backup solutions, patch management, and antivirus management.
Familiarity with Azure and cloud services is preferred.
Good understanding of security best practices (MFA, Conditional Access Policies).
Problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications (optional but good to have): -
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (Azure)
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
