Role Overview

IT Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) is an essential component of our IT organization, providing support to our Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, and Marketing organizations.  Our goal is to radically simplify compliance and risk management, by taking a user-centric approach leveraging automation and self-service. As a Developer, you will be responsible for helping design and build solutions in this space leveraging our ServiceNow platform. In addition to your engineering work, you will play a critical role collaborating with stakeholders across multiple technology teams, helping drive development of an enterprise solution supporting our entire IT organization.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, with a particular focus on the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) GRC module.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test customizations to our ServiceNow applications to meet business needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time-zones to ensure solutions meet requirements

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our custom applications

  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates and new features to recommend and drive process improvements

  • Help maintain technical documentation

What we need

  • Hands-on ServiceNow development experience

  • Proficiency in configuring UI policies and actions, client scripts, business rules, script includes and other ServiceNow components

  • Technical expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST & SOAP

  • Excellent problem-solving and business analysis skills

  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development processes

Preferred Experience and skills

  • Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow GRC / Integrated Risk Management module

  • Pharma background or experience in an other highly regulated industry

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist

  • Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes

  • Using Jira to manage development activities
