This is a contractual engagement under the Project Management Unit (PMU) for an initial period of 5 years, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements.

JOB SPECIFICATION

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Manager/ Senior Manager - Platform Engineering with a minimum of 6+ years of experience. You will lead the Reliability, scalability and automation of our platform. This role will focus on Building resilient Infra, optimizing performance and ensuring HA to support seamless digital experience. Candidate will be expert in Cloud Infra, Devops, Automation, Observability and will workclosely with allteams to enhance platform resilience and scalability

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, architect and implement secure,scalable and high-performance solutions on cloud platforms, particularly, AWS and/or Azure
• Ensure alignment withreference arch andoperational (Performance, reliability & Cost), and Security guardrails
• Evaluate and recommend cloudservices to optimize performance, cost and reliability.
• Ensure cloudenvironments follow the organizations compliance and security

standards.

• Collaboratewith the Security team to ensureadherence to organizational security policies.
• Validate Cloud Governance by compliance checks and cost controls using native and third-party tools including remediations / closure and periodic reporting of governance violations
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Golangor Shell for operational efficiency.
• Contributeto reusable coderepositories and automation libraries.
• Work, monitor andmanage FinOps withMSP including costaccountability and budget variation analysis, chargebacks, and implementing cost savings initiatives from time to time
• Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs and infrastructure playbooks.
• ImplementSRE principles withfocusing on availability, reliability, performance and incident reduction including ownership of error budget tracking, reliability improvements, postmortems
• Create internal toolsor dashboards for infrastructure visibility and performance tracking.
• Contribute to standardization of metrics and KPIs
• Collaborate and defining of Service LevelIndicators (SLIs), ServiceLevel Objectives (SLOs) and Error Budgets for critical services.
• Work closely with MSP application and DevOps teamsto maintain production stability, enhance observability by implementing automated self-healing and remediation workflows
• Use AIOps to automate scaling, predict issues and remediate failures before impacting Production. From time to time conduct model validations, drift monitoring, ensure suitable human in the loop overrides and escalations
• Establishing a centralized observability stack in coordination withMSP for creation of Dashboards, Auto Alerts setup with thresholds.
• Identify and automate repetitive IT operational workflows across incident, change and problem management processes.
• Any other responsibility as may be assigned fromtime to time

JOB QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of experience in cloud management and engineering
• The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, DevSeOps, AI/ML-driven automation and observability, ensuring a robust andscalable infrastructure.
• Understanding of modern SRE principles is desirable. Experience is a bigplus.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS,Azure, GCP (multi-cloud preferred).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaaC): Terraform, CloudFormation.
• CI/CD & DevOpsTools: ArgoCD, Jenkins, Gitlab, Git, GitHubActions, Azure DevOps.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Istio.
• Observability & AIOps: ELK Stack, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch.
• Security& Compliance: IAM,Zero Trust, WAF,DDoS protection.
• Automation& Scripting: Python,Go, (Linux / Unix) ShellScripting.
• PerformanceOptimization: CDN, Caching (Redis, CloudFront), APIGateway optimization.
• E-Commerce Experience: Experience supporting high-traffic, transaction-heavy platforms.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors or Masters degreein Engineering/ Technology/Computer Science/Information Technology/any related field from a reputed university.
• Relevant certifications ITIL, AWS Solutions Architect are mandatory with Azure as a plus

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Understanding of Cloud technologies and experience in e-commerce domainwill be an added advantage.
• Hands on supporting multi-tiered web application architecture.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience withone or moreRDBMS Knowledge SQL Server is a plus
