Job Description
Responsibilities
:Demand Planning
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional plans, and competitor activity to forecast future demand for products across all stores.
Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models using specialized software (Blue Yonder & SAS), other analytical tools or excel.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to understand upcoming promotions, new product launches, and other demand drivers.
Regularly monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
Recommend adjustments to forecasts based on new information and market trends.
Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities related to demand fluctuations.
Monitor and suggest the seasonal /promo builds during the cycle
Communicate demand forecasts and insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders across the organization.
Support the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in demand forecasting.
