Manager- Lending Business

About the Team

Navi operates across Lending, Health Insurance, Mutual Funds, Gold, and UPI. This role sits within the Lending function, which is a core growth engine for Navi and central to our mission of making financial services simple, affordable, and accessible for a billion Indians.

Within Lending, the HL Business team looks at the overall strategy and performance of our loan Housing Loan portfolio. The team is responsible for sourcing and customer acquisition, conversions across different stages of the customer journey, P&L ownership, and working in cross-functional setups with Credit, Product, Analytics, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to deliver on overall business goals.

Must Haves

Graduates from top engineering or management colleges looking to build their career in general management

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of empathy

Business first thinking, with an ability to tackle vague and unstructured problem statements with a first-principles approach

Entrepreneurial mind-set along with an ability to hustle and solve problems on-ground

Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail. Understanding data & dashboards; being adept at Excel & Google Sheets

Operate with speed, ownership, and a builder mindset: challenge the status quo and help shape the next generation of digital lending in India.

Use data to drive decisions and lead end-to-end execution - translate insights into clear actionables to help improve business growth, profitability and product experience.

Strong stakeholder management skills - collaborate cross-functionally with credit, product, tech, analytics, compliance teams to co-create solutions that unlock scale, efficiency, and customer delight.

Design and run experiments to test new ideas, improve funnel performance, enhance customer journeys across the loan lifecycle.

Continuously optimize product flows, processes, and cost structures to deliver a fast, simple, and frictionless borrowing experience.

Improve governance quality & control by setting up workflows, help visualize dashboards, and performance metrics to track and improve overall business health & compliance.
