Job Description
The Senior Manager, Learning & Growth will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance in alignment with Velicham Finances mission. This role will foster a culture of continuous learning and drive capability building across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Learning & Development:
- Develop and implement L&D strategies aligned with business goals.
- Establish frameworks for capability building, leadership development, and career progression.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Design and execute training programs covering technical skills, soft skills, leadership development, and compliance training.
- Develop a mix of classroom, virtual, and AI-driven learning solutions.
- Assess training effectiveness through employee performance and feedback metrics.
- Curate and develop engaging learning content, including manuals, guides, and interactive digital modules.
- Utilize AI and LMS platforms to deliver scalable training solutions.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify learning needs and align training programs accordingly.
- Manage relationships with external training vendors, industry experts, and institutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements and industry standards.
- Track and report key learning metrics to leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's/Masters in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in Learning & Development
- Preferred Industry Experience: Financial services/NBFCs but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Experience in blended learning solutions, including e-learning and virtual training.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms, AI-based learning tools, and performance assessment metrics.
