About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to manage the procurement of TMT bars, cement, electrical, RMC, plumbing, Tiles, Doors, & Windows materials for our construction projects. This includes sourcing, negotiating, purchasing materials to sell to our contract partners, and ensuring that timely delivery, quality, and cost requirements are met.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers of building materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute plans to meet sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Identify, approach, and build strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, distributors, and project clients
  • Sell the building materials to the onboarded contract partners
  • Coordinate with the internal team for pricing, orders, deliveries, and payment follow-up


Required Skills:

  • 2 - 4 Years of sales experience in sales, experience in construction/building materials is an advantage
  • Capable of taking initiatives and working independently to achieve targets.
  • Good in communication, local language is mandatory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines
