Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Architect with 13 to 15 years of experience specializing in IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts and will not require travel. This role involves designing implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions that align with our business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of IBM DB2 LUW databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise in database architecture including the design configuration and tuning of DB2 LUW databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure strategies that support business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes procedures and configurations.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of database systems by implementing appropriate security measures and protocols.
  • Lead efforts to automate infrastructure tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on infrastructure-related tasks and projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in infrastructure technology to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin with hands-on experience in database design configuration and tuning.
  • Demonstrate expertise in infrastructure architecture and best practices.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Show proficiency in scripting and automation tools to streamline infrastructure tasks.
  • Hold a relevant certification such as IBM Certified Database Administrator
  • DB2 LUW.
