As our footprint continues to grow, we are seeking a drivenManagement Accountant to strengthen our financial reporting and revenue assurance capabilities.

Job Summary:

TheManagement Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, while maximizing revenue through rigorous reconciliation and validation of all income streams. This includes accounting for subscription revenue, service fees, commissions, and rebates. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in resolving revenue disputes, and experienced in month-end and year-end closing processes within a software or tech-driven business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
• Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Ensure full and correct recognition of all revenue streams, including software subscriptions, services, commissions, and rebates.
• Lead the collections process, investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies, chargebacks, and commercial disputes quickly and in the companys favour.
• Manage all routine accounting processes includinggeneral ledgermaintenance andensuring all postings are correct and reflect underlying business activity.
• Develop an analytical reporting framework, perform variance analysisto ensure completeness and accuracy of financialdataand provide clear and concise narratives for management reports.
• Monitor cash balances, produce detailed cash forecasts, drive collections and optimise liquidity.
• Drive the annual budgeting process andsubsequentquarterly reforecasting
• Collaborate with commercial, sales, and operations teams to verify contractual revenue entitlements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local financial regulations.
• Support external audits by preparing required schedules and addressing auditor queries.
• Contribute tocontinuousimprovements in financial systemsand controls, workflows, and reporting processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Professionalaccountingqualificationfrom a globally recognised accounting body(CIMA, ACCA, ACAetc) or in final stages of certification.
• 3+ years of experienceleading a teamin a management accounting or financial reporting role, ideally within the software or technology sectorand/or high transaction volume environment.
• 6+ years of professional experience in management accounting or financial reporting roles.
• Strong understanding of revenueand costrecognition, technical accountingprinciples andinternationalfinancial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics andPowerBIbut equivalents also acceptable).
• A hands-on attitude, with excellent attention to detail,aninvestigative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information, collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
