We are looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager (MIM) to lead critical incident operations and ensure minimal business disruption. The ideal candidate must be strong in leadership, communication, and cross-team coordination.

Position Summary:

The Major Incident Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing highimpact IT incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption to business operations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to coordinate crossfunctional teams and drive incident response activities in alignment with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the response to major IT incidents, coordinating efforts between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to restore services promptly.
• Implement and maintain ITSM best practices for incident management, including documentation, escalation procedures, and postincident reviews.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing timely updates and clear status reports during major incidents.
• Analyze incident trends to identify root causes, recommend improvements, and drive proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Develop and deliver incident management training, tabletop exercises, and planned event services to enhance team readiness.
• Maintain incident records and produce regular reports summarizing incident management activities and outcomes for executive review.
