Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our growing Mainframe Development team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in core mainframe technologies and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create technical and program specifications based on requirement analysis.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2 .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality components on time.
• Perform code reviews , debug issues, and support during code-red / critical incidents .
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and mainframe best practices .
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Support the Team Lead in planning, delivery, and continuous improvement activities.
• Required Skills & Qualification
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field .
• 78 years of experience in mainframe application development, support, and deployment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2 .
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver tasks with ownership and accountability.
