About the Role
TCS is hiring a Mainframe IMS Specialist (L2) to provide operational support and maintenance for IMS databases and transactions in enterprise mainframe environments. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth functioning of IMS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2-level support for IMS DB/DC environments.
- Monitor IMS systems and resolve incidents within SLA.
- Assist in IMS configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with L3 teams for complex issue resolution.
- Document processes and contribute to knowledge base.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with IMS DB/DC and mainframe utilities.
- Knowledge of JCL, COBOL , and scheduling tools (Control-M, CA7).
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
