Looker Expert (LookML Developer)

We are looking for a Looker Expert with strong hands-on experience in LookML and semantic modeling. The candidate should be able to build scalable data models, governed metrics, and high-quality dashboards that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain LookML models, views, explores, and reusable semantic layers

Build dashboards and visualizations aligned with business needs

Optimize Looker queries and troubleshoot data or performance issues

Implement row-level and column-level security

Work closely with data engineering teams to understand warehouse structure

Ensure metric consistency, data accuracy, and governance across Looker

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into Looker models

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Looker (not Looker Studio)

Deep knowledge of LookML and semantic modeling

Strong SQL skills

Experience with BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift or similar warehouses

Understanding of joins, relationships, and performance optimization

Ability to debug data mismatches and modeling issues
