Live Sound Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Live Sound Engineer who has hands-on experience in live sound mixing, advanced audio routing, and real-time troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should be calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and capable of managing complex live audio environments including SFX triggering and remote audio integrations (Zoom / Online platforms).

Key Responsibilities:

Live sound mixing for events, shows, and broadcast productions

Advanced audio routing (Analog + Digital workflows)

Real-time troubleshooting during live shows

Operating and programming Yamaha Digital Mixers

Live SFX triggering and integration during shows

Managing multi-source audio inputs (mics, playback, VT, remote callers and Comms)

Zoom / Video Conferencing audio routing and mix-minus setup

Audio signal flow design and patch management

Coordination with video, lighting, and production teams

Sound check planning and execution

Managing wireless mic systems and RF coordination

Maintaining audio clarity, gain structure & feedback control

Recording backup audio and redundancy planning

Technical Skills Required:

Strong understanding of:

Gain structure

EQ, Compression, Limiting, Gates

Feedback control

Mix-minus setup

Dante / Digital networking (preferred)

Experience with Yamaha digital consoles

Knowledge of audio interfaces & sound cards

Understanding of NDI audio routing (preferred)

Experience with DAWs (basic editing knowledge is a plus)

Familiarity with audio plugins & live processing

Knowledge of PA systems and monitor mixing

Ability to design clean signal flow architecture

Experience:

Minimum 23 years experience in Live Sound / Broadcast Audio

Prior experience in live event production / studio setup preferred

Experience in virtual production setups

Knowledge of vMix audio routing

Basic acoustics understanding

Experience handling hybrid events (Live + Online streaming)
