Job Description

LIMS lead:Mandatory :Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment Leadership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of LIMS solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers.Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee LIMS projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.System Architecture: Design and develop the architecture for LIMS solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Customization and Integration: Customize LIMS to meet specific client requirements. Integrate LIMS with other laboratory instruments and enterprise systems.Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Ensure the highest standards of software quality and performance.Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in LIMS and software development. Continuously seek opportunities to improve our LIMS solutions and development processes.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in LIMS development.Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing projects.Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage).Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Angular, React).Familiarity with laboratory workflows and data management practices.Soft Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.Personal AttributesInnovative: Passionate about leveraging technology to improve laboratory operations and outcomes.Client-Focused: Dedicated to understanding and meeting the needs of clients.Proactive: Ability to anticipate issues and take preventive measures.Adaptable: Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Collaborative: Works well in a team setting and fosters a cooperative work environment.Good To Have : LabVantage, Labware, Starlims
