Lex Corp is a New Delhibased full-service law firm with over fourteen years of established practice in corporate and commercial disputes. The firm represents clients before the Honble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, DRT/DRAT, Commercial Courts, and Domestic & International Arbitral Tribunals.
Our practice is strategy-driven rather than reactionary. Each matter is approached through early case assessment, risk analysis, structured litigation planning, and commercially aligned dispute resolution models with a focus on time-bound outcomes.
Role Overview
Lex Corp is expanding its disputes team and seeks a Legal Associate with strong drafting skills and a disciplined litigation approach.
This position is suited for professionals committed to building a serious career in corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. The role involves active court exposure, strategic case preparation, and close coordination with senior members of the disputes team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing commercial litigation before High Courts, Commercial Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, DRT/DRAT, and Arbitral Tribunals.
- Draft pleadings, applications, written submissions, and arbitration documentation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs and strategy notes.
- Assist in matters under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code and recovery proceedings.
- Attend court hearings and assist in arguing procedural and interim matters (as appropriate to experience).
- Coordinate with clients and maintain structured case updates.
- Ensure timely compliance with court procedures, filing deadlines, and statutory requirements.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 35 years of litigation experience (corporate/commercial disputes preferred).
- Strong drafting and legal research skills.
- Exposure to High Court, NCLT, arbitration, or commercial litigation matters.
- Sound understanding of civil procedure, arbitration law, and insolvency law.
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Enrolment with the Bar Council of India.
