Responsibilities

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximise occupancy and rental income
• Identify and target potential tenants through market research and networking.
• Conduct lease negotiations including terms and conditions and rent structures.
• Maintain relationships with existing tenants and handle renewals, expansions or relocations.

Collaborate with marketing team to attract desirable brands and increase footfalls.

• Analyse retail trends and consumer behaviour to align leasing with market demand.
• Coordinate with legal and finance teams for lease documentation and compliance.
• Track lease expirations, monitor vacancy levels and prepare regular leasing reports.
• Ensure timely handover of retail units and manage fit out timelines with tenants.

Qualifications and skills required.

• Bachelor's degree in Business administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in retail or mall leasing
• strong network with retail brands and brokers.
• Knowledge of lease laws, mall operations and tenant coordination.
• excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
• Understanding of shopping mall dynamics and retail trends.
