ROLE INTENT

The Lead Video Editor & Motion Designer is responsible for defining the quality, consistency, and creative execution of video, motion graphics, and animation across client accounts.

This role sits between creative leadership and execution excellence, ensuring every motion output reflects MAGs storytelling standards and visual sophistication.

YOUR GROWTH MILESTONES

In 3 Months Establish Motion Authority

• Take ownership of video and motion output across key accounts
• Understand MAGs motion language, storytelling benchmarks, and post-production workflows
• Build strong partnerships with Creative Directors, Content, and Production teams

In 6 Months Lead Motion Excellence

• Become the go-to resource for complex edits, motion graphics, and animations
• Elevate pacing, motion systems, transitions, and storytelling quality
• Lead quality reviews before final delivery

In 12 Months Define Motion Standards

• Own motion systems and storytelling standards across brands
• Influence motion language and post-production workflows across the agency
• Mentor associate and junior video editors
• Contribute to high-impact campaigns, launches, and films

WHAT YOULL DO

• Lead editing, motion graphics, and animation across campaigns and brand content
• Create motion graphics, typography animation, transitions, and motion systems
• Translate creative direction into compelling visual storytelling
• Review and elevate video output across the team
• Collaborate with creative, content, and production teams
• Maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency across multiple timelines

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

• 69 years in video editing and motion design roles
• Exceptional command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong storytelling instincts and motion design capability
