Position Overview:

The Pega Lead Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications that meet complex business requirements. This role demands deep technical expertise in the Pega platform, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design and development of Pega applications ensuring adherence to Pega Guardrails and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and junior team members.
• Define and document application architecture, data models, process flows, and integration points.
• Implement complex workflows, case management, and decisioning capabilities.
• Integrate Pega applications with external systems using REST, SOAP, JMS.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Support system testing, UAT, and resolve defects promptly.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and project managers in Agile ceremonies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and deployment instructions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years in Pega application development.
• At least 4+ years in a Lead Developer or Architect role.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Pega PRPC (7.x/8.x) and Pega Infinity.
• Strong knowledge of Pega frameworks, case management, and BPM.
• Hands-on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, MQ, JMS).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD).

Certifications:

• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) mandatory; CSSA preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Exposure to GenAI features in Pega Infinity.
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of performance tuning and security best practices.
