Lead/ Senior Microsoft SQL DBA_ Exp: 12+ Years

Technology Skills:

• Expert in Database Administration and support having strong knowledge in Database design and architecture
• Plan/perform tasks related to installation and configuration, backup, recovery, security, patching, upgrades, migrations and high availability
• Expert in performance tuning and optimization (Query Optimization, Index mgmt., Execution plans, DB profiling etc.,)
• Resolve moderate to complex (P1 and P2) incidents and problems effectively in a timely manner
• Providing 24X7 production support as needed and available for escalations
• Accountable for performing root cause analysis, long term fix, service improvements and providing technical solutions
• Accountable for design and implementation of medium to complex components of a project module, change requests.
• Expertise in managing multiple MS SQL 2014/2016/2017/2019/2022 RDBMS on medium to large systems
• High availability and disaster recovery Log shipping and Mirroring, Replication, AlwaysOn AG, Failover clustering
• Expert in security Access control, encryption, Auditing and compliance, vulnerability assesment
• Good knowledge of Windows OS and its related commands
• Provide consultation and advise on best practices, capacity planning and cost optimization
• Good knowledge in Automation and scripting eg., Powershell scripting, SQL agent jobs, SSIS packages
• Ability to work with Cloud (IaaS & PaaS), Cloud technologies
• Expertise in setting up monitoring alerts for SQL estate using tools like Datadog, NewRelic etc.,
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisions
• Experience in cloud integration and management (Azure/AWS, Hybrid solutions, Migrations)

Qualifications:

• Graduation/Post Graduation.
• Minimum 12-14 years of technology experience in Level 3&4 support.
