Lead Consultant – SQL Server Administration

Responsibilities

•    Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases. 
•     Backup and disaster recovery activities - copy, replicate, periodic DR testing
•    Should be doing the required replications to ensure high availability, data sync.
•    Server clustering and scheduled backup, Server mirroring.
•    Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries for efficiency. 
•    Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning. 
•    Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate with developers for resolution. 
•    Implement and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data. 
•    Collaborate with IT support and development teams on database-related projects. 
•    Develop and maintain documentation for database procedures and processes. 
•    Stay up to date with the latest database trends and technologies. 
•    Configuring Azure services to meet the needs of the organization
•    Designing and managing swap space in the cloud environment
•    Maintaining azure profiles and subscriptions
•    Setting up private and public cloud environments
•    Balancing and deploying workloads
•    Implementing and managing cost-effective cloud systems
