Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Accountant to manage daily bookkeeping and streamline our accounting operations across Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, and other online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bookkeeping, ledger entries, and reconciliation
• Maintain accurate books on Tally/ERP and ensure all records are always up to date
• Reconcile Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, and other marketplaces data with ERP
• Manage payouts, settlement reports, chargebacks, returns, and commissions
• Ensure GST, TDS, and compliance-related entries are properly recorded
• Ensuring accurate inventory management and stock reconciliation
• Assist in the integration of Shopify + marketplaces with Tally/ERP for automated invoice posting and accounting entries
• Coordinate with the tech team to set up automation workflows and troubleshoot discrepancies
• Prepare financial summaries and reports for management
• Support audits and ensure financial hygiene across all e-commerce operations

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in e-commerce accounting or D2C/startup finance
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of Shopify/Amazon/Nykaa settlements, fees & reconciliation
• Experience (or strong willingness to learn) API-based integrations & automation tools
• High accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail
