Location: Mumbai (On-site) Andheri West

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support & Trading Systems Engineer to manage and support the technology infrastructure of a live trading desk .

This role is critical to ensuring system uptime, low latency, and uninterrupted trading operations during market hours.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Desk Support

1. Ensure uninterrupted operation of trading terminals, OMS/RMS, and market data systems
2. Provide real-time troubleshooting during market hours for:
3. Order execution issues
4. System lag or latency
5. Connectivity or terminal failures
6. Coordinate with OMS/RMS vendors, exchanges, and brokers for issue resolution
7. Server & Infrastructure Management
8. Manage and monitor Linux and Windows servers
9. Track system health: CPU, memory, disk usage, logs, latency
10. Maintain backups, redundancy, and disaster recovery systems
11. Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades

Network & Connectivity

1. Manage leased lines, internet connections, and failover systems
2. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls
3. Ensure low-latency, high-availability network performance
4. Liaise with ISPs and connectivity providers for uptime and performance

Security & Access Control

1. Implement and manage user access, permissions, and credentials

Ensure data security and system integrity

Maintain logs and access records as required for audits

Hardware & User Support

1. Setup and maintain trading PCs, multi-monitor setups, and peripherals
2. Install and manage OS, trading software, and utilities
3. Provide quick on-desk support to traders and risk teams

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

1. 24+ years experience in IT support for:
2. Trading desk / prop desk / brokerage / fintech environment
3. Strong knowledge of:
4. Linux & Windows server administration
5. Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
6. System monitoring and troubleshooting
7. Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment

Preferred (Good to Have)

1. Experience with OMS/RMS platforms
2. Knowledge of exchange connectivity or co-location setups
3. Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, etc.)
4. Understanding of capital markets and trading workflows

Work Environment

1. On-site role

Compensation

5 10 LPA (depending on experience and skill set)
