IT Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role offers hands-on experience in managing day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives. The intern will gain exposure to hardware, software, and network systems while contributing to organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
• Support IT team in asset management and maintaining IT inventory records.
• Help troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues related to LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, and printers.
• Contribute to IT documentation : SOPs, knowledge base articles, and system configurations.
• Assist with software licensing, updates, and patch management .
• Provide first-level support for email, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications .
• Participate in IT security awareness initiatives and assist in ensuring compliance with company IT policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing Bachelors degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts .
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and MS Office applications (knowledge of cloud platforms like Google Workspace / Office 365 is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to new technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
