Shift Timing: 12 noon to 9 pm IST

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with firewall appliances, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), firewall management, and a solid foundation in Information Security practices. This role involves managing day-to-day IT operations, supporting infrastructure, and ensuring a secure, stable, and high-performance IT environment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain firewall appliances for secure and large-scale data transfers.
• Administer and support VDI platforms (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and configure firewalls, including but not limited to Juniper, Fortinet, and pf Sense.
• Implement and monitor information security protocols to protect systems and data.
• Maintain and support servers, networking equipment, and backup systems.
• Respond to and resolve IT issues across departments in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor system logs and performance metrics; take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for issue resolution and project execution.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 24 years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role.
• Hands-on experience with firewall appliances (e.g., Juniper, Fortinet, pf Sense, or similar).
• Experience managing and troubleshooting VDI platforms (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD).
• Practical experience in managing firewalls, including Juniper, Fortinet, and pf Sense.
• Solid understanding of Information Security best practices and tools.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux server environments.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
