Job Title: Junior Interior Designer

Job Summary:

This is a full-time job with Design Studio 91. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and executing interior spaces that align with client needs, preferences, and budgets while ensuring aesthetic appeal and functionality under the supervision of the senior . This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to work with clients, vendors, and project teams. The Interior Designer will manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create mood boards, sketches, and visual representations of design concepts for client approval.
• Develop comprehensive design plans, including layout, colour schemes, furniture selection, lighting, and accessories.
• Create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, and design drawings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Collaborate with site engineer, contractors, architects, and vendors to implement the design plans.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and adjust the design as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 0-1 years of experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects (residential, commercial, etc.).
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape).
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within budgets and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regional languages, sustainable design practices and trends is a plus.
• Ability to speak in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil would be a plus point.
