Insurance Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to drive the growth and expansion of the insurance business. The role will focus on building strategic partnerships, scaling distribution channels, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the overall insurance portfolio across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Distribution

• Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities and expanding insurance distribution channels.
• Build and manage partnerships with insurers, reinsurers, NBFCs, and digital platforms to enable embedded and retail insurance offerings.
• Develop scalable partnership ecosystems to support business expansion.

P&L Ownership

• Own and manage the P&L for the insurance business.
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability and operational efficiency.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Act as the key liaison with Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strengthen governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management practices.

Corporate / Group Insurance

• Manage the corporate insurance portfolio across the organization, including group and enterprise policies.
• Lead policy renewals, negotiations, and claims governance.

Leadership

• Build and mentor a high-performing team across business and operations functions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in insurance, insurtech, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of insurance partnerships, distribution, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven ability to drive business growth and manage key partnerships.
