Job Description

Job Title: IT Administrator (Email & Office 365 Support) 12 Years


Job Summary

IInfotanks is looking for an IT Administrator (12 years experience) to support day-to-day IT operations with a focus on software troubleshooting, hardware support, basic networking, and email/Office 365 administration. The role includes handling DNS/email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) tasks, resolving Office 365 issues, and ensuring smooth IT support for internal users. This is a US Shift role.


Note: This role does not require server administration or cloud expertise.



Key Responsibilities


IT Support (Software & Hardware)

  • Provide L1/L2 support for day-to-day IT issues across laptops/desktops and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot OS/application issues (Windows, browsers, common productivity tools)
  • Support hardware setup, repairs coordination, and inventory/basic asset tracking
  • Install/upgrade software, manage basic access permissions, and maintain system hygiene


Networking & Connectivity (Basic)

  • Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, printer/network access, and basic IP/DNS issues
  • Assist with router/switch configuration changes as per guidance (basic level)
  • Coordinate with ISP/vendor support when needed and document resolutions


Email & Office 365 Administration

  • Support Office 365 user issues: Outlook configuration, login/access, mailbox setup, shared mailboxes, basic policies, and troubleshooting
  • Assist with email setup across devices (desktop/mobile) and resolve delivery/configuration issues
  • Manage and validate DNS records related to email (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, TXT/CNAME)
  • Support troubleshooting for DKIM/signing issues and ensure correct configurations with domain providers
  • Maintain documentation for email settings, DNS changes, and standard IT processes


Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain helpdesk logs/trackers for issues, resolutions, and pending follow-ups
  • Create simple SOPs/how-to guides for recurring problems
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for hardware/network/email fixes


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in IT support / IT administration / helpdesk role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for software and end-user systems
  • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts: IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi/LAN
  • Practical understanding of email DNS records: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, TXT/CNAME
  • Hands-on experience supporting Office 365 / Outlook and user mailbox issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain fixes clearly to non-technical users
  • Organized approach to documentation and task tracking


Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with basic endpoint setup (antivirus, standard apps, device onboarding)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace/Zoho basics (support perspective)
  • Experience working with domain registrars/hosting panels for DNS updates

  • Advanced network engineering
