IT Specialist - Operations & Cybersecurity

India (Onsite/ Hybrid) | Full-Time | Reporting to Managing Director

As Hubot CDMO scales its India operations, we're building the IT backbone from the ground up and we need one sharp, self-driven IT professional to own it all.

This isn't a help-desk role. You'll be the single point of ownership for hardware, security, cloud identity, employee monitoring, and day-to-day IT operations supporting our India office and remote workforce reporting directly to the US based IT Team.

What You'll Do

• Procure, configure, and deploy laptops, monitors, peripherals, and accessories for all employees on-site and remote
• Provision new devices for onboarding; securely wipe and re-provision for offboarding and role changes
• Maintain a comprehensive IT asset inventory with asset tag IDs and lifecycle tracking
• Install, configure, and manage Teramind across all endpoints for activity monitoring, productivity analytics, and insider threat detection
• Design and enforce DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies to protect proprietary formulations, customer data, and trade secrets
• Set up and administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) MFA, Conditional Access policies, and identity governance
• Monitor data transfers, USB usage, email attachments, and cloud uploads for unauthorized exfiltration
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) licensing, mailbox management, distribution groups, and permissions
• Manage Keka HR platform (IT side) user provisioning, SSO, integrations, access control, and troubleshooting
• Conduct routine security and malware scans; generate compliance reports for leadership
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures and data backup protocols
• Serve as the go-to IT contact for all India-based and remote employees troubleshoot email, VPN, printers, software, and remote desktop issues
• Provide remote support via Quick Assist, AnyDesk, or equivalent tools
• Train employees on software, hardware, and security best practices
• Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and user guides

Who You Are (Builder & Problem Solver)

• 36 years in IT systems administration or infrastructure management
• Proven Microsoft 365 admin experience (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID)
• Hands-on with MFA, Conditional Access, and identity management in Azure AD
• Experience with endpoint monitoring/DLP tools Teramind experience strongly preferred
• Strong Windows OS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing IT hardware procurement and asset lifecycles
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) you'll interact directly with US-based leadership daily
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Nice-to-Have

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, AZ-104, SC-300)
• Pharma, GMP, or FDA-regulated environment experience
• Familiarity with Keka HR or similar HRMS platforms
• Experience supporting distributed teams across time zones
• Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with backup/recovery procedures and system performance monitoring

• Zero critical security incidents per quarter
• < 4-hour average resolution time for IT support tickets
• 100% device provisioning/deprovisioning within SLA for onboarding and offboarding
