The candidate will need to have strong expertise in Informatica Cloud (IICS) , Data Governance (ICDG) , Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) , and metadata-driven data practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Governance & Metadata Management

• Implement and configure Informatica Cloud Data Governance (ICDG) policies, rules, workflows, and governance processes.
• Develop governance assets including glossaries, business terms, data domains, and policies.
• Maintain relationships between business terms, technical assets, and data owners/stewards.
• Ensure metadata lineage, impact analysis, and governance quality rules are properly defined and maintained.

2. Informatica Data Catalog Development

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Informatica Cloud Data Catalog (ICDC) or EDC scanners, connections, and metadata harvesting.
• Build and enhance metadata curation workflows, classifications, custom attributes, and tagging.
• Work with technical teams to integrate metadata from databases, ETL/ELT processes, BI tools, cloud platforms, and data lakes.

3. Data Quality, Lineage & Classification

• Implement automated data lineage tracking for key pipelines and data assets.
• Collaborate with data stewards to define data quality rules, scorecards, and anchor assets.
• Develop custom lineage parsers, metadata ingestion scripts, or classifiers as needed.

4. Collaboration with Stakeholders

• Work closely with business data owners, data stewards, architects, and engineering teams.
• Assist teams in onboarding data sets into the catalog and aligning them with governance standards.
• Conduct training sessions and documentation for business users on catalog and governance features.

5. Monitoring, Optimization & Support

• Monitor catalog scans, workflows, and governance processes for failures, performance, and completeness.
• Troubleshoot metadata ingestion issues and ensure accurate asset representation.
• Continuously refine and optimize metadata governance practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 610 years of experience in Informatica Cloud , EDC, or IICS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (ICDG/C) or Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).
• Strong understanding of metadata management, data governance principles, and data lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data integration/ETL tools (IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake, SQL, Python preferred).
• Experience in implementing business glossaries, domains, policies, and data quality rules.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP and modern data architectures.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Informatic Cloud , Data Governance , or Data Quality .
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau/Power BI metadata connectors.
