IBM Filenet Admin

Job Summary:

looking for an experienced IBM FileNet Administrator to provide ongoing monitoring, maintenances and optimization of our FileNet environment. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in FileNet administration, patch management, performance tuning, and security hardening. The role involves proactively monitoring system growth, identifying potential issues, and recommending improvements to ensure stability, scalability, and security of the FileNet platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor FileNet application health, performances and data/storage growth on a regular basis via BOD/EOD activity and suggest for optimisation.
• Identify any suspicious activities, performance degradation, or abnormal patterns in the environment.
• Suggest and implement optimizations to improve system performance and resource utilization.
• Apply necessary patches, updates, and security fixes in coordination with the internal IT/security/server team.
• Perform FileNet administrative tasks including configuration, user management, and access control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests w.r.t administrators.
• Review logs and alerts to detect vulnerabilities or potential threats and close them proactively.
• Ensure high availability, data integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
• Provide periodic reports on system health, usage, and recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in IBM FileNet Administration.
• Strong knowledge of FileNet Content Engine, Datacap, Record manager, ACCE, Dashboard and ICN.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS), SQL database and Windows environments.
• Expertise in patching, tuning, and troubleshooting FileNet systems.
• Familiarity with security practices, including vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• L2/L3-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
