Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum)

Role Description

We are seeking a senior HVAC Design Engineer who will handle end-to-end HVAC design, client coordination, project costing, and technical discussions. The role involves meeting clients to understand project requirements, preparing design and cost proposals, and supporting projects from concept to execution.

Key Responsibility

• Attend client meetings to understand project requirements, scope, and technical needs.
• Take responsibility for project discussions, proposal finalization, and project handover.
• Prepare project costing, estimates, and budget inputs for HVAC works.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Lead and participate in project review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Complete HVAC system design including Chilled Water Systems, VRF Systems, and Ventilation Systems.
• Perform heat load calculations as per ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and NBC standards.
• Equipment sizing and selection for AHU, pumps, fans, ducts, and piping systems.
• Prepare duct design, pipe sizing, and air distribution layouts.
• Design systems for car parking ventilation, kitchen ventilation, smoke extraction, and pressurization.
• Prepare BOQ, Design Basis Reports, Technical Specifications, Quotations, and Presentations.
• Use HAP software for heat load calculations.
• Prepare and review CAD drawings (Mandatory).
• Handle vendor coordination and vendor management.
• Manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC design
• Strong exposure to client handling, costing, and project proposals
• Expertise in chiller systems, ducting, piping, and ventilation design
• Knowledge of Indian & international HVAC standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
