Job Title: HR Manager / Assistant Manager
Location: Andheri West, Mumbai
Department: Human Resources
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a degree in Human Resources, OR
- 7+ years of overall experience (relevant exposure to HR functions preferred)
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR professional to manage end-to-end human resource functions while also ensuring operational discipline across teams. This role requires a strong balance of people management, process implementation, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Core HR Functions
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and exit formalities
- Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance across the organization
- Handle employee grievances and maintain a healthy work environment
- Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR databases
Performance & Productivity Monitoring
- Ensure daily reporting discipline across sales and operational teams
- Monitor and enforce CRM updates and usage by the sales team
- Track employee productivity and highlight gaps to management
- Coordinate with department heads to improve efficiency and accountability
Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor employee attendance, leaves, and working hours
- Maintain accurate attendance records and share inputs with the accounts team for payroll processing
- Ensure timely and accurate salary-related documentation
Travel Tracking & Reimbursements
- Track employee travel using HRMS or geo-tagging tools (e.g., Jio-based tracking systems)
- Validate travel claims and initiate reimbursement processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies for travel and expenses
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives
- Drive employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture
- Support internal communication and team-building efforts
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance and labor laws
- Coordinate with external consultants/auditors when required
- Support audits and maintain necessary compliance documentation
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accountability and attention to detail
- Proficiency in HRMS, CRM tools, and MS Office
- Ability to enforce discipline while maintaining positive employee relations
