Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to manage end-to-end HR operations for our caf and restaurant business. The role requires hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, and performance management within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end recruitment and onboarding of caf and restaurant staff

Manpower planning and attrition control

Handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters

Payroll coordination, attendance, leave, and shift management

Ensuring compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, and statutory norms

Performance appraisal management and staff engagement initiatives

Implementing HR policies, SOPs, and best practices

Maintaining HR records and reporting to management

Eligibility & Skills

Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality / cafs / restaurants

Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance

Excellent communication and people management skills

Experience working in high-attrition, operational environments

Proficiency in MS Office and HR tools/software

Preferred Candidate

Experience handling multi-outlet caf or restaurant operations

Practical, hands-on HR professional with strong execution skills

Knowledge of local labour practices in Pondicherry is an advantage
