Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration , along with a solid understanding of the insurance domain and software development best practices .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter framework.
• Work on configuration, integration, and customization of PolicyCenter modules.
• Develop and maintain Gosu scripts , business rules, and workflows as per project requirements.
• Integrate PolicyCenter with external systems using Guidewire APIs, web services, and messaging .
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA, and other developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning .
• Provide technical support during UAT and production deployment .
• Stay updated with the latest Guidewire product versions, tools, and best practices .

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-12 years of total IT experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter .
• Strong proficiency in Gosu programming and Java .
• Experience in Guidewire configuration (PCF, Data Model, Business Rules) .
• Good understanding of Guidewire Integration mechanisms (Plugins, Messaging, Web Services).
• Experience with Guidewire Studio , GUnit , and GOSU Debugging tools .
• Familiarity with insurance business processes , especially Policy lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter (Configuration or Integration Specialist).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Cloud Platform will be an added advantage.
