Job summary

We are looking for a GeoSpatial Sr. Analyst MAP with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in IBM Guardium Data Discovery and Incident Management. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel requirements. The candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing geospatial data to support our projects and initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex geospatial data to support various projects and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on geospatial data analysis to improve decision-making processes.
  • Utilize IBM Guardium Data Discovery to ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage and respond to incidents related to geospatial data ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into broader business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain geospatial databases ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate geospatial data findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits of geospatial data to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial analysis and data management.
  • Provide training and support to team members on geospatial data tools and best practices.
  • Ensure all geospatial data activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of geospatial data management strategies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of geospatial data processes and methodologies.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience with IBM Guardium Data Discovery.
  • Must have experience in Incident Management.
  • Should have a solid understanding of geospatial data analysis techniques.
  • Should be proficient in using geospatial data tools and software.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to have experience with other data security and compliance tools.
  • Nice to have experience in a hybrid work environment.
  • Should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data issues.
