AI Engineer -Python+GenAI chatbot development

Experience: 6-12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack applications integrating frontend, backend, AI services, and databases.
• Develop and support GenAI chatbot solutions using OpenAI / Azure OpenAI.
• Implement and contribute to RAG-based architecture, including document ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, and prompt orchestration.
• Build scalable backend APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI / Flask preferred).
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using Azure Function Apps.
• Design, develop, and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures in Azure SQL.
• Develop responsive and scalable frontend applications using Angular, ensuring optimal UI/UX performance.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs.
• Work on AI service integrations, including chatbot interfaces, data pipelines, and knowledge retrieval systems.
• Implement authentication, security controls, and API protection mechanisms across applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, performance tuning, and CI/CD deployment activities.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of full stack software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Python for backend API development
• Angular for frontend development
• REST API development and integration
• Azure Function Apps OR AWS
• Azure SQL OR MS SQL
• Hands-on exposure to OpenAI OR Azure OpenAI APIs.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of RAG architecture (Good to have) and GenAI chatbot development.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure).
• Understanding of application security, authentication, and API best practices.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in collaborative and client-facing environments.
