Gen AI Architect

Role Overview

Zycus is hiring a GenAI Architect with strong Java platform expertise to design and build AI-native enterprise procurement systems. This role combines deep experience in enterprise Java architecture with cutting-edge Generative AI and agentic AI systems.

The architect will modernize and extend Zycus Java-based SaaS platforms with GenAI capabilities, ensuring seamless integration between AI services and large-scale enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect GenAI solutions integrated with enterprise Java platforms
• Design and implement LLM-powered services within Java microservices ecosystems
• Lead development of AI agents and RAG pipelines for procurement automation
• Define architecture patterns for integrating AI services with Java Spring Boot microservices
• Build scalable APIs and middleware connecting AI components to enterprise systems
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-enabled Java platforms
• Establish AI architecture standards, governance, and security best practices
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI into procurement workflows
• Mentor teams on GenAI adoption and modern Java architecture
• Drive platform modernization initiatives to support AI workloads

Required Skills & Experience

• 815 years of experience in enterprise software architecture with strong Java expertise
• Deep hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience building GenAI / LLM-based applications in production environments
• Proficiency in Python for AI integration and experimentation
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI agent frameworks
• Strong knowledge of API architecture and event-driven systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of ML lifecycle and AI monitoring practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-powered enterprise SaaS platforms
• Exposure to procurement or enterprise workflow automation
• Experience integrating Java systems with Python AI services
• Knowledge of multi-agent orchestration systems
• Experience with MLOps and AI observability tools
