Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL
• Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Work on Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and storefront improvements
• Develop and integrate Node.js-based APIs and backend services
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Optimize websites and applications for speed, performance, SEO, and security
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain clean, scalable codebases

Required Skills & Experience

• 25 years of professional web development experience
• Strong proficiency in:
• PHP & WordPress
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• Node.js (basic to intermediate backend development)
• HTML5, CSS3, MySQL
• Hands-on experience with WordPress theme & plugin development
• Working experience with Shopify development
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs & JSON
• Experience using Git and version control workflows
• Solid understanding of responsive design and modern UI practices
• Educational background in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Familiarity with React, Vue.js, or other JS frameworks
• Basic knowledge of server management, hosting, and DevOps
• Awareness of web security and performance best practices
