Full Stack Engineer, Periodic KYC Reviews PKRs

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who can
• design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines on Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms.
• develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Python, Java, and Apache Kafka.
• work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to extract insights and identify relationships across datasets.
• create data models and structures optimized for performance and query efficiency.
• ensure compliance with Information Security and data governance standards.
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies and implement enterprise-wide data solutions.
• monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using tools like Azure Logs, AppInsights, Grafana, and Spark monitoring.

Your team

In this role you will be accountable for platforms and projects in the Periodic KYC Reviews. This is a hands-on technology role working in India. You will also work with broader team members distributed across US, Poland and India.

Your expertise

• Expert hands-on knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering large, scalable systems
• 4 + years of experience in Java/J2EE, React JS, Kafka, REST APIs, microservices, and event driven architecture
• Working knowledge of application frameworks such as Spring Boot & Micronaut
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and other cloud-native services preferably in Microsoft Azure
• Good SQL and data analysis skills. NoSQL DBs like Cosmos DB or MongoDB a huge plus
• Good UNIX/Linux experiences and scripting skills
• Nice to have skills include: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and Web development skills
• Excellent communication skills and team player
• Working knowledge of Agile development processes and tools
• Analytical and methodical problem solving and debugging skills
• Leading a team of resources across geographies and managing a business-critical platform
• Good at communication and team coaching / management skills
• Tuned to Finance industry and / or service provider culture
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in cloud-based data engineering.
• proficiency in Python and Java.
• hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL tools.
• experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, CosmosDB, Gremlin) is a plus.
• familiarity with Git, IntelliJ, and modern development workflows (Gitflow, CI/CD).
• experience across SDLC in Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall environments using Azure DevOps.
• knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and YAML.
• strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
