About the Role

Were building NFThing, a performance-driven, user-centric media social network where users control their feed and are rewarded for their attention. The product includes real-time feeds, interactive surveys, ads, analytics dashboards, and creator-driven experiencesbuilt with a strong emphasis on frontend performance, scalability, and clean UX.

Were looking for a Frontend Developer with at least 1 year of hands-on Next.js experience, who can immediately contribute to a production codebase. This is not a beginner roleyoull be expected to own features end-to-end, collaborate closely with product and backend teams, and ship high-quality UI from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and maintain production-grade frontend features using Next.js
• Implement App Router / Pages Router, layouts, routing, and data-fetching patterns (SSR, SSG, ISR, client components)
• Develop and maintain PWA features (service workers, caching strategies, offline support, installability)
• Convert Figma designs into clean, responsive, pixel-accurate UI
• Integrate frontend features with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Optimize frontend performance (Core Web Vitals, bundle size, lazy loading, caching)
• Debug, refactor, and improve existing Next.js codebases
• Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to deliver features end-to-end

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Next.js in real projects (startup, freelance, or production apps)
• Strong frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), React
• Prior experience building or contributing to PWA or performance-focused frontend applications
• Solid understanding of responsive design, layouts, and component-based UI
• Experience integrating APIs and handling async data flows
• Comfortable working independently and owning features from design to deployment
• Familiar with Git-based workflows and collaborative development

Nice to Have (Strong Plus)

• Experience with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or styled-components
• Familiarity with performance tooling (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, bundle analysers)
• Experience working in early-stage startups or fast-moving teams
• Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and UX best practices
