Responsible for designing and routing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems using SolidWorks. The role includes hydraulic load calculations, schematic development, and routing of sensors, cables, and valve banks, along with delivering clear build plans to manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and route hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in SolidWorks.
- Perform hydraulic load and component sizing calculations.
- Create hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Route sensors, cables, hoses, tubes, and valve banks within machines and fixtures.
- Generate shop-ready build plans, routing drawings, and BOMs.
- Coordinate with design, controls, and manufacturing teams.
- Support assembly, installation, and commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks routing.
- 5-6+ years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical routing.
- Familiarity with industrial sensors, valves, and manifolds.
