We areseekinga passionate and talented engineer to join the Electronics & Propulsion team to work onfirmwaredevelopment for variousembeddedsub-systemssuch asMotor Controller andBMS. As an engineer infirmwareteam, you willbe responsible forModel Basedfirmware development ofvarious sub-systems of our Hybrid VTOL Aircraft.

Key Responsibilities :

• This position requires one to be skilled infirmware development process starting from requirements gathering, architecture development,unitand system level testing
• This position requires the candidate to have good understanding of FoC based motor control,MATLABSimulinkand familiarity with C2000 family of microcontrollers
• Developfirmwarearchitectures whichmeet aerospace standardsof reliability and scalability
• Comfortable with documentation of requirements and test cases
• Work along with simulation / model-based development tools to generate code rapidly.
• Familiar in sizing and choosing microprocessor based on requirements
• Comfortable with building low level drivers forPWM,I2C, SPI, SMBUS, CAN, ARINC,UART,Ethernet etc
• Develop andmaintainfirmware codebase using industry-standard version control systems (e.g., Git), ensuring code quality, readability, and reusability.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of firmware components to ensure functional correctness, reliability, and compliance with system requirements.
• Design and implement power management strategies, including sleep modes, power gating, tooptimizeenergy efficiency.
• Work and take help of other engineers across various functions to ensure on-time delivery of goals.

Qualifications :

• Masters/bachelors degree in engineering
• Working experience with Git/Jiraand scripting languages like Python
• Familiarity with ML technologies and their application indecision making embedded devices.
• Well versed with Object-oriented Analysis & Design, Design Patterns, Data Structures and Algorithms
• Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and familiarity with ARM architecture, instruction set, and development tools (e.g., ARM Keil, GCC).
• Experience working on ICslike AFEsused in BMS voltage monitoring, Gatedriversand Active balance circuits
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering design teams focussed on energy systems or power electronics. Prior experience with VTOL or hybridaircraftis highlyadvantageous.
• Experience in sensorselection, interfacing, and data acquisition, with knowledge of common sensor types (e.g., accelerometers, gyroscopes, temperature sensors).
• Experience working on closed loop controller developmentin power electronic systems.
• Experience working on state-machinebasedarchitecture development
• Proficiencyin debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems, such as JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and protocol analysers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex system issues and provide effective solutionsin a timely manner.
• Demonstrated history/experience working with Model Based system development tools like MATLAB Embedded coder
• Demonstrated history of working in a team and effectively collaborating andutilizingteam resources.
